My personal test:

As a breeder and pet owner, my priority has to be the health of the animal. I am extremely particular about everything from the brands of food I feed to the shampoos and soaps I use because quality matters.

Before I will endorse anything, I have to believe in the product. When I was given the opportunity to endorse NuVet, I was not willing to put up the ad until I had used this on my pigs and dogs and seen if there was any real difference.

Here are my tried and true findings and a personal review of their product. 

We had one little piggy, and she was cute, but seemed to not have very much energy. Not like the others. She would wander around the house and just look for a place to lay down and cuddle in a blanket. Her vet check implied that she was healthy, but she had really bad dandruff and her hair was almost scroungy looking. He suggested that we put her on vitamins, so I started researching the NuVet product he suggested, and even though they were geared mostly towards Cats and Dogs, many mini pig breeders were using them, and the dog vitamins are approved for pig use, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Plus, it was recommended by my vet.

Within a week of her being on NuVet, her level of energy was a complete change for the better. She was now playing with toys puttering all over without looking for a place to lay down. Within two weeks her coat seemed to be thickening. After a month of being on NuVet, the results, I can honestly say, are an EXTREME improvement. She has a beautiful, soft, shiny coat of hair and is a happy, normal little pig. I am honestly not sure what she was lacking, because we give our piggies all the exact same well balanced diet, but whatever it was, NuVet fixed it. Now all my piggies are on NuVet and yes, it's worth the investment.

Next test was a hound dog that, due to a broken femur (from slipping on our tile floor when he was 10 weeks old) now resides as an indoor, very large lap dog. Coming from a person who has Mini Schnauzers because they do not shed, all this shedding from the hound dog in my house was making me crazy. I remembered reading something on someones site about NuVet reducing shedding and figured it certainly couldn't hurt. Again I have been amazed at the results and the lack of fur that is on my brown couch. If I hadn't personally seen these changes, I would have been sceptical, but I am sold on NuVet and I will forever endorse these folks' products.
